QUICK FIX , THE SOUNDS ,& BOBBING AND LEAPING!!
1. After beginning the month with temps up in the 70's and even 80's,the following week they plummeted down to below freezing, and it snowed two nights in a row.Disturbed that my fast emerging iris and purple tulips would be ruined, especially after the weatherman remarked that the bulb-flowers that were starting to bloom would probably be killed off by the snow.We prayed and took pictures of them out there in the snow, because as we all know, God can do anything he wants! The very next day, it warmed up and began to rain, and everything is coming up just perfectly. I'll have before an after pictures in just a couple days,in my photo album!Praise God!
2.The first morning I woke up and there was snow all over everything, I mis-took the sight of the bridal-wreath all fluffy and white to be in bloom, particularly with Mr.Cardinal perched in the midst of it, singing his sweet song, right outside my dining room window. I even urged Yon son to take a picture of him, but we got so excited, Yon used the flash, and all we got was a picture of the inside of the window! It took me a few minutes to realize that the white stuff was snow, and not blooms(...but we will be taking pictures of the bridal wreath when it is in bloom anyway.) But it wasn't long before I heard rain spattering the window-panes,and the hissing of the snow as it melted under the onslaught of the rain. What amazing sounds!
3.It's been raining for several days now, and at a break in the clouds, I delight in sitting and looking out the kitchen door, watching the birds bobbing across the lawn, seeking out twigs and other building material for their nests, and catching worms, and meanwhile my peonies and tulips are fairly leaping out of the ground! What a busy, busy garden I have!
