MEMORIES,FLOWERS, AND SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO!
1.Every Mothers day that goes by, since mommy went home to the Lord, takes me back down memory lane, when I can, and do sit and think for hours about the wonderful lady whom I was fortunate enough to call my mother. She risked her own life, to give life to three children, but lost two, so she should have had five. She was brilliant, loving, talented in so many ways, and so beautiful she took people's breath away when she walked into a room. She was way ahead of her time, and loved, or hated by all. There was no middle ground with mom! She was a loving wife, but independent enough to be able to work, or run a business, and then turn around and clean the house, and cook fabulous meals. She gave her children appreciation for music, art, beauty and the printed word, and always had time to give us personal time with her.She taught us to speak our mind, but not to use profanity. She was a great mother, and Lord, but I miss her. I'll be so glad to see her again, in heaven.
2. Well, it is mothers day, and I already have my flowers. From the store, I got a mixed bunch of flowers, with white and yellow Daisey mums, babies breath, and fern, and casa dias carnations, yellow with purple trim, and one sonia rose. To that I added yellow tulips out of the garden, and tons of bridal wreath! It is so lovely, and I so enjoyed arranging them myself! Also, Yon son brought me a potted plant, of flowering antherium!! I have only wanted them for years and years! Bless his baby heart, he knows what mommy wants, and breaks his neck to find it for me.
3. I am so looking forward to Sunday morning.Yon son has promised to wake me in plenty of time to wake up and have breakfast, and take my meds, so that I will be ready for church at the appointed time. I can hardly wait! He has determined he will be up for church, and when he makes a promise, he keeps it. Thank God! It's going to be a beautiful day, I just know it.Unfortunately, that also means, I have to wind this up,and get to bed, so I am well rested, and feel good too.(she said, crossing her fingers, and knocking on wood) So, goodnight, m'dears! It's bedtime! Nighty-night!
