A GRAND TEE-HEE, THE TREK, AND CURLS!
1.So, it's the first full day of spring, and to God and nature, there's nothing like just one last funny. It's snowing outside, and the streets are as black and shiny as licorice, while all around there is a fine soft powder over everything else.
2.Yon son had to go to get his hack license re-newed today. What a trek! On foot, and by bus, and by cab,45 minutes both ways. Only 15 minutes for the application, normally an hour for the test, and another 45 minutes wait for the picture and the actual papers. But, in view of that, he had arranged for another driver to cover for him, since he would have to be up and out running around, rather than sleeping today.Inconvenient, true, however, it also meant he could be here tonight,we had a leisurely dinner together, and he had a chance to catch up with what has been going on with his wife, and finally, to rest well, in the knowledge that he won't get stopped and fined $75 , for not having an up-to-date taxi license displayed.
3.My hair is getting so long, that it was really nice Yon son was here tonight to also help me wash and curl my hair.By myself, it seems to take just hours and hours, but with help, we were done in just over two hours!
I think I have found my Easter hair-do!
Happy Spring Everybody!
