"A BEAUTIFUL MIND", A MOVIE REVIEW!!

You may have noticed that I am not the first one out of the gate with certain things.I am stating the obvious only because I know this movie came out in 2001, and people like Ron Howard, and Russell Crowe won several Oscars for it. In fact,A Beautiful Mind won an Oscar for picture of the year. However, I heard of it only peripherally, since at the time I was going through some serious surgery, and really couldn't care less what the latest and greatest movie was, or who won what award.I have heard it referred to from time to time,and thought, I should see that movie some time, but honestly, it was not high on my priority list.Living and breathing and recovering from back surgery was just a bit more important. But, this morning, Yon son came leaping through the door with breakfast and all sorts of goodies,and amongst those treats, was the VHS of " A Beautiful Mind!"

And, it was a treat! I have to say that this is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. I love the ones who grab you, and make you think you know what is going on, and then jump up and pull a whammy on you, and you flat didn't see it coming. That is what ABM did to me!  And then, just when you think he is being unfairly treated,and your heart just sinks, and you think he is done,WHAM! They do it to you again! I Love that!  This film was just totally delicious, and I wish every movie experience could be this wonderful and fulfilling and satisfying! So, if you're like me, and haven't seen it yet, when you have the chance to, by all means do it! You will be glad you did!
