Well, it seems that D. is at it again, and once more, Sherry got suckered in. I told you recently how delighted Sherry was when her daughter seemed to come to her senses and tossed Mr. Wonderful out, and made amends with her Mother.Just in time for the Holidays, they came together as a family, and Sherry spent a month with her daughter and her grandchildren, and you can imagine it feeling like an answer to a prayer. So far so good. But now, something strange is happening. Now that D. has a good job once again, and a boss that is helping her out, and Sherry is back home again, things have turned around again, and Mr. Wonderful has shown back up at D's door.It just so happened that D's boss was there, and D. responded by slamming the door in his face.Through the door, he said all he wanted was his clothes and his boots, and she threw them out on the lawn, and he went away.BUT! Later, after the boss had left, he came again to the door, and she opened it, and did not slam the door.He invited her out for coffee, and she went. Now, he has the cell phone number of her new cell phone. Now, all those kind and thoughtful things the boss has been doing for D. to keep her safe, are no longer necessary! Now, the promises that D. made to her mother to help her out, have to be put on hold!
There is more, but it's just more of the same rot that they pulled on Sherry before, so it looks as though nothing has really changed after all, they just found a new way to scam Sherry all over again. Not that the prayers didn't work, but she forgot that life goes on after the holidays. But, at least this time, she is wise to the game, and she is that much further ahead of them. This time, she knows what to expect, and how to pray!
However, now Sherry's question to me is, what should she do about D's boss? They might be setting him up for a scam. Should she contact him without D. knowing it, and warn him, or not? I'm kind of going back and forth on this one, so, what do you think, dear reader? Leave me a comment, and give me your input, please!
