" It has been said that something as small as the flutter of a butterfly's wing can ultimately cause a typhoon halfway around the world." -chaos theory.
This is the opening line of the movie, "The Butterfly effect", starring Ashton Kutcher.I did not know it at the time, but this film is rated "R", for a very good reason. It has brief flashes of undesireable elements, and is definately not for children.Had it not been for the compelling plot, I probably would not have finished watching it...but I am a sucker for certain types of sci-fi, and this fits the catagory reserved for such movies as " The sixth sense" for thrills and surprises, and "Back To The Future" for the time travel. Also, if you enjoyed the what if's of "Sliding glass doors", then you will like this offering from New line home entertainment's Infini film.
However, I warn you, It has violence, language, and sexual content. So, be advised that I would not ordinarily recommend a film of this nature, but this particular film does not use these things as the total thrust of the plot.
