I'm not real fond of green, but it is easier on the eyes to occasionally go to a softer color. I am all for whatever is easier on the eyes. Yes! The bandage is off, the steri-strips fell off,and it doesn't look like there will be much scaring.I still look like someone poked me in the eye, but now it's no longer a midnight purple all around the eye. It's just a little redness under the eye, and the scar is a thin line, and very short. I imagine it will be more noticable once the redness fades...if it fades, but the overall wound is practicaly invisible compared to what it was a week ago.So, it looks better, but for some reason, I still can't do too much without discomfort, and so I nap when it starts to hurt. And so, I am not as active in my blogging as I was, but that is just temperary, one hopes, and soon I will be back to my old self once again.
As for the scar...If it scars, it scars. You won't catch me running off to the plastic surgeon as a certian family member did when she walked into a gate and got a small nasty cut above the eyelid below the brow.It was tiny, but powerful enough for her to pay mightily for the treatment. And so, I go to nest. Nighty-night, keep your powder dry....((HUGS))
