I was just watching a bit of SNL,and it is the"best of Alec Baldwin". Now, I never noticed it before, but compiled as a group, altogether, his skits, have a preponderance of sexy themes, including, but not limited to the double untundre of homosexual acts, and typifying boy scout leaders as preying on the young men they lead. By the time they got to the "shwetty balls" skit, I had had enough. I don't know if it is the writers, or Alec himself that is responsible for such foulness, but If he were not willing to portray these characters, I am sure, changes would be made. His willingness, I suppose could be attributed to his acting ability and ethics, but, wow. That whole show was pretty raw! Up until now I have always respected Alec as a good actor, and he still is. In this instance, however, I think he did a little too well. I am now questioning a number of issues. First, should I even be watching SNL, even on the fly, as I go by? Should I consider this experience as a wake-up call, and stay away from SNL altogether? Secondly, was this perhaps a sort of declaration of Baldwin's, as far as his stand on gayness? As a body of work, all the indications are there. In the future, I shall have to consider my options very carefully, if I notice Alec Baldwin listed as a cast member in a movie, before I view it. As a christian, perhaps the best move would be to 86 both SNL and Alec Baldwin. I don't need to be exposed to such offensive material.
